Poorly Insulated Adjoining Wall & Cathedral Ceiling in Marlboro, NJ

Adjoining wall that connects the attic with the homeowner's daughter's room. Homeowner complaining room is too hot and too cold in the winter.

Looking at the exposed fiberglass insulation that is doing next to nothing to insulate the daughters room. This wall is not air sealed and we can see dirt in the fiberglass insulation because air is leaking in and out of the daughters room into the attic.

This is the vaulted ceiling in the daughters room with lights. This room is harder to keep warm or cool because air is leaking into the gaps of the light housing. We use silicone or high temperature caulk to stop the air leaks.

We removed the fiberglass insulation and installed our SilverGlo insulation panels onto the adjoining walls. Next we used our ZypFoam sealant to air seal the adjoining walls.

We dense-packed the adjoining walls with our TruSoft cellulose insulation.

Using our TruSoft cellulose insulation we dense-packed the vaulted ceilings.

This is a completed picture of the adjoining walls properly insulated with our SilverGlo insulation panels and dense-packed with our TruSoft cellulose insulation. We can also see we used our orange ZypFoam sealant to air seal the walls or seams.
